During a serious disaster, there will inevitably be injured people.  CERTs are trained in triage, which is actually a way to sort the wounded according to the severity of their injuries.  The Basic Triage Unit will assist your team in setting up a triage area at the scene.  A very useful piece of equipment to use in conjunction with the Triage Unit would be the EVAC Roll Stretcher Kit – a lightweight, but strong, cloth stretcher perfect for CERTs.
